On the left side of the keyboard there are 4 buttons (Copier/Printer/Scanner/Fax). Above these 4 buttons is a button labeled System Menu/Counter. Press this button.
This opens a menu on the keyboard screen. Use the down arrow (\/) to go to Counter Check. Press Enter (OK).
Then use the down arrow (\/) to go to (2) Output Count. Press Enter (OK).
The meter reading that is needed is the Copy number shown (we don’t need any of the other readings, just the Copy number).
To get back out, use the up arrow to go to End and press Enter (OK) on each of the screens until you get to Ready to Copy.

To the right of the touch screen, above the number buttons, is a button labeled *Default Setting/Counter. Press this button.
On the touch screen, a number of boxes will appear. On the right side of the touch screen will be a box labeled Counter Check. Touch this box.
This will open a new screen with meter counts. The number that is needed is the Black and White Total (no other number is needed).
Press Close and, then, End to get back to Ready to Copy.
