Service Manager - Fritz Ring
In September 2006, Fritz Ring joined the family at Capital Office Products bringing 10 years of hardware, software, and networking support and customer service expertise. Prior to coming to Capital, he spent 6 years working with AT&T local network services in upstate New York, where he specialized in all aspects of telecommunications. In 2003, Fritz and his wife moved to Irmo, SC, to be closer to family, start their own family, and enjoy southern hospitality. He resumed his telecommunications career with Nuvox Communication serving as a National Operation Center (NOC) switch technician, monitoring and testing communications equipment for customer circuits and equipment for all of South Carolina. In 2004 he started working as field service printer technician servicing Business Class Hewlett Packard and Lexmark laser printers.
He also worked as the IT support for networking, computers, and telecommunication support for both the company and its customers. Field service is where he was able to bring all of his technical knowledge together with his outgoing personality to support his customers in a way which met their business needs and exceeded their expectations. Since coming to Capital in 2006, he has implemented that same high level of commitment to customer satisfaction by leading the company’s service department in providing service to all of Capital’s customers, some of which are located all over the United States.
An important aspect of his life, besides hard work and dedication to Capital, is his love and commitment to his family, wife Tammy and 2 sons, Justin and Bryce. He also has parents, siblings, and grandparents in South Carolina, with whom he spends most of his spare time enjoying their company and their family love.
